Support and strengthening of school traditions that contribute to the creation of a school-wide team;

Survey of library readers in order to identify their preferences;

Education of a thrifty attitude to school textbooks.

Special attention will be paid to the wide popularization of Ukrainian literature, literature on educational issues, the history of culture of the Ukrainian people, and the education of respect for the native language, national cultural and spiritual heritage of our people with the help of this literature.

Providing assistance to teachers in scientific and methodological work, in studying the achievements of pedagogy and psychology, new pedagogical technologies and their application in practice.

Formation of legal culture of readers, citizenship, patriotism, spread of interest in the history of the native land.

The main purpose of the school library is to help students and teachers meet their information needs. Successful implementation of this goal is possible only if all library activities are properly planned.
The school library is one of the most important areas of work. She helps to implement the state program of national education and upbringing of children, solves this task with her methods and means in the general plan of the educational process of the school and together with the teaching staff Planning the work of the school library is an integral part of the school planning. When drawing up the plan, it is necessary to take into account the Laws of Ukraine "On Education", "On Library and Library Matters", "Regulations on the Library of Secondary General Education Institutions".
